Young Ashiren

Even though I have not yet thought why on Earth Ashiren* would be having a flashback to her being this young...I thought I'd draw how she'd look like at this age....I don't know how old she is here o-o It was just for fun.

Also, I did it to show how Dera* looks like her mother. If you've seen a picture of Denisu(thereapersapprentice.deviantar…) you'll see that she has cropped bangs. Here, so does Ashiren . Even though Dera's are more wavy, it just shows that Ashiren has favored the cropped bangs look for young girls xP Also you can see similarity in the nose. They both have a round nose, and both do not grow out of it. Dera also got her mother's skin color. Once I color this picture, you'll see what I mean . Ashiren has slightly darker skin, almost olive, and so does her daughter. Also the round face and defined chin is another thing. One thing that you can't see in either picture that Dera got from her mother is the shyness. Ashiren was very shy when she was young, and so is Dera. They both, however, grow out of that one

Another thing you'll notice while looking at young Ashiren is that she has this "Deer in the headlight" stare. That was one thing she was known for. You asked her something, she'd either throw a fit or stare at you.

(But everything else about Dera looks like her father o-o)
